Life Goes On...

My poor children and husband. for the past several days, well weeks, actually months, I have felt like poo. I have no energy, no motivation, I am being haunted by a yucky, blah feeling that follows me everywhere, everyday. I am now 13 weeks pregnant and all this yuckiness should be gone by now. Why does this ghost of Morning sickness enjoy my body so much? I wish it would leave and let me enjoy my summer! sheesh. So, because of this, my children spend less time going to the park, to the library, to the beach, going for bikerides...and more time at home, playing outside, playing with their toys, reading books....sorry my little munchkins...I am just praying that I can enjoy atleast one month of summer before school starts, where we can go camping and to an Indians game and to the beach. Since we have moved into our new home, almost 2 months ago, I haven't had any desire to do anything to make it home. Yesterday I decided to hang pictures in ben and I's bedroom. Ben comes home from work and you would of thought I handed him a check for a million dollars. He was overcome with joy and said..."you hung pictures, you must be feeling better!" and gave me a big hug. Three hours later, "thanks again for hanging pictures." wow. I didn't know it meant that much to him. So now, life goes on. and I need to just enjoy it! This ghost of yuckiness will pass! soon, right?

13 weeks already! I hope the sickness goes away soon. I understand how hard it can be on the family. Just remember how wonderful that little baby will be when it arrives!!!!!! And I know your children will absolutely love it too!

I think it will leave at 14 weeks. Just a few more days, hang in there:)

ahahahaha! You have officially lowered Ben's expectations. Brent couldn't care less if I hung any pictures! Now, if I cleaned the entire house, washed the cars, mowed the lawn AND did NOT go shopping, Brent would be impressed.

LOVE these pictures! Your kids look so cute - especially that little squirt in the middle ;) And, um.. YES, this too shall pass (the morning sickness)... and then you might have a baby that is colicky or has issues and you're stuck back in the house again. Oh oops. Probably not a good thing to say right now huh? Sorry. I'm venting. I'm in your boat. My kids have spent a lot of time in the house lately while I've been rocking a screaming baby. Fun stuff :( It's lucky we know they are SOOOOO worth it....

Good luck!! And it doesn't sound like your kids have it too bad - playing with their toys isn't so bad!!

So cool you are pregnant, but funny too--not because you are sick but you make the 4th "sister" I know from the good old days who is expecting now. Koenig is due in february, Dill, and Capson are also with child. :) Hope you get feeling better.

When I first read that for the past 13 weeks you've been feeling blah I thought "she's pregnant!", then your next sentence clarified my brilliance! ;)
Congrats! Hope you feel better soon! I hate the prego sicknesses! Yay for the Andrews!

That's wonderful... not the morning sickness part, but that you get to have another one of those beautiful kids you and Ben make... Congratulations!

I'm right there with you. There should be a more suitable name than 'morning sickness' to fight away all your yuck. I hope it gets better soon.
